Growing and Growing

People who haven't seen Shelly in a month are all commenting on how tall she is getting. I don't know what happened but at her 2 year appointment she was 34 inches tall and in the 50th percentile. Now, she is over 36 inches, getting close to 37 in the last few months! Daddy thinks she might get his height :) She is very independent. It might take her 10 minutes to put on those socks, but, by golly, she will do it ON HER OWN. If you try to help she gets mad. She loves to read books to herself and makes up stories. I have to get a video on here of that. We are blessed by such a smart and beautiful girl.

Brandon and I had an adoption class in Indy yesterday and of course showed off her picture. Everyone says how cute she is so it's not just mommy! LOL We are done with our home study and approved. Yippee!!!!!! Now, we just have to finish the letter the expectant mom reads and we are "active" and officially just waiting for the call that we were chosen. Pray God works and we have a baby in our arms soon.
